Episode 212
Being Good Enough Versus Settling for Good Enough
LISTEN NOW
Happy Thursday, and hello from Marshall, TX. Today’s topic is about being good enough, versus settling for good enough. I’m rereading Glennon Doyle’s Untamed, and she hits the nail on the head so frequently. How often do you settle for good enough? Our relationships, jobs, and bodies are good enough. Settling for good enough enables us to stay small, and go after the things we want. Settling is a giant red flag and a sign that we are not following our intuition. I’m not saying to never consider rational but to instead weigh it next to your intuition.
Being good enough is when you are no longer striving to prove yourself. When we don’t feel good enough, we accept things we wouldn’t out of worthiness. When you see yourself as good enough, it’s so empowering and it allows you to dream bigger. It allows your imagination to run wild.
”What is the most true and most beautiful life you can imagine for yourself?” - Glennon Doyle
